Course Information
The Safety Training Methods course satisfies ANSI Standards Z490. One criteria for accepted practices in safety, health and environmental training. It offers today’s top industry methods so management can make educated training decisions and optimize workplace safety efficiency. Over four days, trainees learn proven techniques in needs analysis, performance objectives, instructional strategy, delivery methods, cost evaluation and much more. This program will help you:
• Identify and understand the most common adult learning styles
• Utilize the five phases of a performance-based training process
• Understand learning objectives and evaluate learning progress
• Design and develop training projects in safety settings
• Select, design and use modern media successfully
• Calculate direct and indirect training costs
• Determine training and non-training workplace safety solutions
