Course Information
Learn how to train and certify standard forklift operators in our fast paced, 2-Day Express Standard Forklift Trainer Certification Program. We will teach your trainer everything they need to know about electric and engine-powered standard (standard warehouse style) forklifts and how to effectively train your operators. Trainees receive in-depth instruction on powered industrial trucks as well as extensive instruction on how to effectively train forklift operators. Each trainee’s knowledge and demonstrated skills are evaluated and graded prior to certification. Successful attendees will receive a certificate of completion and trainer wallet card. This course isn’t make or model specific, our training covers concepts common to all types of lift trucks including Clark, Hyster, Raymond, Clark, Crown, John Deer, Toyota, Nissan and Yale.
• Trainees should have experience working on and/or with the equipment addressed. Operator credentials are not issued during this program.
• This program addresses standard forklifts only and does NOT include narrow aisle forklift (reach truck), powered pallet truck or rough terrain telehandler forklifts.
• A portion of this program will be outdoors. Trainees should wear appropriate clothing. Steel toed shoes are strongly recommended, as well as a high visibility vest.
• Trainees will be sent a Standard Forklift Operator Reference Manual in advance. Trainees must read the entire operator reference manual, complete the quizzes throughout and bring their completed manual to the program. Completion of the operator reference manual is mandatory and successful completion of this program depends on it.
Please be advised that this training program is quite intense. The program trainer cannot accommodate trainees arriving late or those requiring early departure for any reason. Please ensure that you or the trainee you select is able to attend the full duration of the program, as failure to do so may result in its unsuccessful completion.
